What is the Fullaship?

The Fullaship is a 12-month program open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Young People who are on a journey to become community leaders, role models and mentors. The Fullaship provides personal and professional development pathways for Young People to continue their own journey of cultural, personal, and professional growth and development.

The participants of the Fullaship Program, ‘Fellows’, experience a range of both virtual and in-person sessions. They share their own lived experience, build connections and broaden their network, and are offered experiences that aim to challenge, encourage and inspire them to achieve their own goals and aspirations. Through this, recipients receive individualised and group mentoring and guidance to enhance their development in their areas of interest.

All travel and accommodation costs to attend the in-person intensives are covered as part of the program. As the remainder of the program is delivered virtually, participants will require their own computer devices and connectivity.

“Since commencing the program, I have experienced many development activities and opportunities which has directly led into self-reflection and stronger determination for who I’d like to be as I continue to walk down my path.”
